YouWeb‘s Peter Relan is taking over as CEO of CrowdStar, according to VentureBeat. Former CEO Niren Hiro is stepping down after less than a year, but will advise Relan and continue to do angel investments in the future. Hiro is stepping down to an unspecified disagreement with Relan regarding the future of the company. Hiro came to CrowdStar in May from mobile advertiser AdMob. CrowdStar is currently the second-largest social game publisher on Facebook, serving over 47 million montly active users. CrowdStar was also one of the first developers to extensively integrate Facebook Credits into its games.
