Mobile social gaming network Scoreloop has announced support for Windows Phone 7. The Scoreloop SDK for Windows Phone 7 will enable the same social features and cross-platform gaming that Scoreloop enables on Bada, iOS, Android, and Airplay. Right now the Scoreloop SDK for Windows Phone 7 is not publicly available, but early access will be granted to a small number of select developers. Scoreloop lets users add social and multiplayer features to their games along with new revenue streams like in-app purchases, virtual currency, and in-app promotions.
Scoreloop is a rapidly-growing network, adding new users at a rate of 1 million per week across all platforms. Windows Phone 7 is Microsoft’s latest iteration of Windows for mobile handsets, with a major emphasis on gaming. Windows Phone 7 integrates support for Microsoft’s Xbox Live network and Xbox Live’s distinctive 3D avatars. Major developers have begun porting hit iOS titles like Pocket God to Windows Phone 7. It’s an ideal time for Scoreloop to move in and broaden its ability to support multiple popular mobile platforms.
