Marketing firm Appssavvy has closed a deal that will integrate Microsoft‘s “To The Cloud” campaign into ngmoco‘s GodFinger All-Stars for iOS. This is the first brand campaign to be integrated into any ngmoco title. GodFinger is a deity-themed social game where players create a planet, visit friends, and share gifts. Appssavvy says this mirrors Window’s “To The Cloud” campaign, which wants to encourage consumers to create, connect, and share through Microsoft’s Windows Live.
The integration allows GodFinger players to visit a Windows Cloud that exists in every user’s galaxy. Players who visit earn free Awe, the game’s virtual currency. At the Windows Cloud, GodFinger players can also learn more about creating, connecting, and sharing videos, tips for Windows 7 and Windows Live, and special offers. The Microsoft “To The Cloud” campaign will run until January 2011. Earlier this year, Appssavvy released a report which found that branded virtual goods in ad campaigns help boost user purchase intent.
