Social Gold is adding support for more international payment methods thanks to deals with two new Asian prepaid card services, Gamania's GASH and Soft World's MyCard. Now holders of either of these prepaid cards will be able to spend their balance in any game or virtual world that supports Social Gold payments. These deals substantially increase Social Gold's payment reach in many parts of Southeast Asia including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, and Mayalsia.
The GASH and MyCard deals also add support for new currencies to Social Gold, including the Taiwan dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Singapore dollar, and the Malaysian ringgit. Now users from these countries, which tend to have large English-speaking communities, will be able to pay for microtransaction purchases in games from Miniclip, Ohai, LOLapps, and Tagged.com. Social Gold also partners with the likes of Cherry Credits, paysafecard, and Ukash to extend its international reach.
