PopCap, Square-Enix To Launch Pop Tower In Japan

Casual game developer PopCap is partnering with Square-Enix subsidiary Taito to release a dedicated social game service called Pop Tower in Japan in early 2011. Mig33 Gets $8.9M To Bring Mobile Social To Feature Phones

Mobile social network Mig33 has taken an $8.9 million Series C round lead by Indonesian telecom firm Pak Sugiono Wiyono and Japanese social network GREE with participation from prior Mig33 investors Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures, and DCM.
