AARP Gets into the Tech Startup Funding Game: Calling all Tech Health Startups

Engage Digital is pleased to have partnered with AARP to launch a brand new startup – investor initiative focused on health technology. AARP Health Innovation@50+ LivePitch (Sept. 21st in New Orleans) brings together health technology startups, the venture capitalist and angel investment community and industry experts. Also, unique to this event, participating startups will have the opportunity to receive instant valuable consumer feedback from AARP members. The event takes place at the annual Life@50+ AARP National Event & Expo, which is attended by 20,000+ members and guests from across the U.S. and the globe. After pitches, demos and questions from the judges and AARP members, a grand prize winner will be selected at the end of the day.

Companies are invited to be Apply to Pitch. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain profile, receive valuable consumer feedback and get in front of leading investors. Presenting companies will be focused on consumer-oriented health technologies for the “50 and over” market. To be considered as a finalist, companies will have launched their product/service within one year of the September 21, 2012 event date, as well as not have raised more than $5 million in funding.
