TrialPay Launches Credits Version Of DealSpot
TrialPay has just launched a new version of its DealSpot ad offer API that supports Facebook Credits. The new API lets developers insert an icon into their games that users can click on to see a targeted offer that gives free Facebook Credits in exchange for making a purchase or watching a video ad. DealSpot has integrated with over 50 games since it launched two months ago, including games from Playdom, CrowdStar, LOLapps, Kabam, and Wooga.
TrialPay also offers versions of DealSpot that support direct payments instead of Facebook Credits, as well as a version that can be integrated in a display ad that appears alongside the game rather than an icon within it. TrialPay says that DealSpot’s aggregated deals help developers generate twice as much revenue as a standard offer revenue. This can increase to 8 to 10 times as much revenue as a standard offer wall during certain holiday promotions. For now, TrialPay appears to be the only ad offer network that Facebook plans to work with directly, with Facebook even distributing a guide to using DealSpot to top developers.
DealSpot integrates high-value, time-sensitive offers from providers like Groupon and Living Social whenever possible for a particular user. During holiday seasons, appropriate themed offers are also integrated into DealSpot. Otherwise it rotates through a selection of low-value but high-conversion deals, like watching video commercials. DealSpot’s placement as an in-game icon is designed to attract users who otherwise wouldn’t visit a traditional offer wall.
