Zynga Chief Game Designer Brian Reynolds to Keynote Engage! 2011 in NYC
Zynga Chief Game Designer Brian Reynolds will deliver the opening keynote the first day of the 5th annual Engage! Conference and Expo, taking place February 15-16, 2011 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Engage provides companies the critical information they need to reach kids and youth through digital technologies. Just three years old, Zynga is the world’s largest social game developer with more than 360 million monthly active users and 65 million daily active users. The company makes social games, including FarmVille, FrontierVille, Mafia Wars, Zynga Poker and others. The games are available on Facebook, MySpace and the iPad and iPhone.
Reynolds is joined by more than 50 featured speakers from a diverse group of companies, including: Disney, Hasbro, Mattel, Pepsi, Sears, Google, PBS, Cartoon Network, Cepia (Zhu Zhu Pets), National Geographic, WGBH, Interactive Toy, Mind Candy, Sesame Workshop, and many more.
Zynga has 1,300 employees and estimated revenues this year above $500 million, according to Venture Beat. Zynga is the most-profitable, fastest-growing, and has the happiest customers of any company that Silicon Valley-based venture capital company Kleiner Perkins has invested in, Kleiner partner John Doerr told told Venture Beat recently.
Engage 2011 is focused on tools and strategies for reaching the constantly connected consumer. The show’s focus includes online and mobile digital media and devices. The Engage! conference schedule includes a number of tracks: App Strategy and Development, Social Games, Casual MMO’s and Virtual Worlds, Digital Kids – Business Strategies, Digital Kids – Creative, Design and Development, Digital Monetization Solutions and Gamification
