Virtual world Woozworld is partnering with Media Chaperone’s activity reporting service Piggyback to let tweens spend the Facebook Credits virtual currency on microtransaction purchases in Woozworld. Piggyback will let parents who are buying Facebook Credits for their child monitor his or her spending.
Facebook Credits are supported in 200 games from 75 developers on Facebook. Woozworld is supporting the Facebook virtual currency in its own platform because using it is safe, secure, and easy for parents to manage. Woozworld is a kid-oriented virtual world that targets users aged 9 to 14.
Woozworld lets users create their own avatars, connect with new friends, and conduct business in a safe virtual environment. Woozworld protects all user information and is compliant with COPPA, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Woozworld hopes to make its virtual world even more accessible by supporting what it calls “one of the Web’s largest virtual currencies.”
