Fashion virtual world Stardoll has partnered with Burger King to offer premium items in Burger King Kids Meals. The promotion will run in the United States through October 31st in approximately 7400 Burger King restaurants. Earlier this year the promotion ran in over 10000 Burger King restaurants in nations including Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Switzerland, and the UK.
The Burger King premium items based on Stardoll will be the first physical goods released under the Stardoll brand. Burger King will support the items through a marketing campaign including television ads, in-restaurant ads, online promotions, and custom packaging.
