Frogster Interactive, publisher of family-friendly MMO Runes of Magic, has abruptly dismissed three of its top executives: CFO Ralf Kloppel, CAO Bjorn Koschin, and Frogster America CEO Lars Koschin. Frogster has not yet announced plans to replace any of the executives nor has it given any reason for the dismissals.

Lars Koschin had lead the Berlin-based company's American branch for the past 18 months. His brother Bjorn had been with the company for two years and Ralf Kloppel for four years. Frogster Interactive has also terminated a consulting arrangement with Ralf Kloppel.

The announcement of these key executive departures comes shortly after rival MMO publisher Gameforge took new actions to try and complete its acquisition of all outstanding Frogster stock. Earlier this month Gameforge acquired 60% of Frogster's stock. Last week Gameforge increased the price it was willing to pay per share in an effort to acquire the rest of the outstanding stock.
