Announced last month, China-based Radiance Digital Entertainment's Beach Volleyball Online sports MMO is moving to closed beta today. Operated in North America by Omniverse Games, Beach Volleyball Online is set to launch next month. It will combine both team-based sports games as well as broader socialization and community environments of more traditional virtual worlds.
"Beach Volleyball Online combines the action, playability, and precision of console games with the character development, exploration, and community aspects usually associated with MMOs," said Jonathan Seidenfeld, CEO of Omniverse Games.
