OLIVE Helping Solve Mysteries On NCIS

Tomorrow night on NCIS, Forterra's OLIVE virtual world platform will be getting some primetime exposure. Forterra's client  Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services uses OLIVE in its Mirror Worlds application to host Pictometry geospatial data. The main appplication is to create a mirror world for troops and first responders to train and plan for operations. Toward that end, IS&GS built a virtual Long Beach, which the show's investigators fly through.  At least in NCIS, investigators are also using Mirror Worlds to track and analyze data from a crime scene, mapping out movement and actions of people and vehicles.
