MindArk announced today that it would be using the latest HP BladeSystem c-Class servers in its data center as it upgrades Entropia Universe to the CryENGINE2 engine. The virtual world has been ramping up over the beginning of this year for a variety of changes and preparing to bring in more partners to its platform.

"Understanding MindArk's vision for the 3D internet was central to providing a data center solution. MindArk's scalability requirements required a solution that fulfilled spatial, economical and environmental considerations," Patrik Orrvik, Account Manager at Benzler, an HP preferred partner, said in a statement. "In today's market the HP BladeSystem with Flex-10 technology is the only solution that can meet all of these demands in a cost-efficient way."
