Virtual Italian Parks, the developers behind the virtual environment platform Moondus, announced this week that it had been selected as one of the finalists for Red Herring 100 Europe. The award is given to the top 100 private tech companies based in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa. Moondus, which we took a look at in October, is a platform for creating white label social and entertainment worlds as well as business- or education-focused applications. Virtual Italian Parks has been working with partners ranging from media companies to the Italian military.
