FlowPlay, the developer of OurWorld, is announcing today that it has signed a long-term agreement to distribute its casual games through Miniclip. It's an interesting choice considering OurWorld is a browser-based virtual world centered around casual games, which the company previously described as "Miniclip meets Second Life" and boasted of having longer play sessions in its early beta than Miniclip. FlowPlay has licensed over 100 Flash games for use in its communities.  With the economic downturn, though, and an increasingly crowded space for virtual worlds, it makes sense to start to look elsewhere.

According to VentureBeat, ourWorld currently has over 10,000 virtual goods for sale and more than 600,000 registered users. When you compare that to Miniclip's 50 million monthly gamers, a bit more distribution starts to make sense.
